Andrew Girman is an Associate with Mullen Coughlin, practicing primarily with the Incident Response team. After an organization is subject to a data privacy and cybersecurity attack, Andrew works with them in identifying the nature and scope of the incident and in the coordination of the forensic investigation to determine how the attack occurred and if there are any legal obligations the organization needs to be aware of as a result. He counsels these organizations on the state, federal and international data privacy laws that are relevant based on the investigation, as well as in the review of any contractual obligations or industry-related regulations the organization needs to be aware of.
During law school at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, Andrew was a Law Clerk with Mullen Coughlin. Prior to that, he was an intern in the Montgomery County (PA) District Attorney’s Office Family Protection Unit. He also was a Moot Court Board member and participated in the 60th annual “Theodore Reimel Moot Court Competition.” Andrew also served as the President of the Family Law Society.
