Bridget Whan Tong focuses her practice on data privacy, network security, and incident response. Ms. Whan Tong advises clients on preparing for and responding to data security incidents. Ms. Whan Tong guides clients through all aspects of an incident response including discovery, investigation, identification of legal duties, and compliance with any duties arising out of a data security incident. She also assists clients with any resulting regulatory inquiry and follow up from a data security incident.
Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Ms. Whan Tong served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Sherry R. Fallon of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. Ms. Whan Tong earned her juris doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal. During law school, she served as a judicial intern for both Chief Magistrate Judge Mary Pat Thynge of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware and the Honorable Thomas L. Ambro of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
