Brittany De Hoyos is an Associate with Mullen Coughlin, practicing in the Incident Response service area. She counsels clients across all sectors industries in responding to, and mitigating the effects of, a perceived or confirmed cyber incident.

Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Brittany was a Data Privacy and Compliance Fellow at MSA Safety, Inc. in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. There she assisted the privacy team in creating Data Subject Access Request training programs, as well as a Data Breach Process and Response training for the legal and non-legal departments. She also aided the legal team in updating internal privacy policies to conform to existing privacy regulations.

Prior to joining MSA Safety, Ms. De Hoyos assisted the legal team at ANSYS, Inc. in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, where she was responsible for creating data flow diagrams to track data obtained in compliance with GDPR and CCPA requirements.

In addition to her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Ms. De Hoyos also holds a Master in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh as well as a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Wichita State University.

Ms. De Hoyos is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional/U.S. (CIPP/US) issued by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
