Carly E. Nixon is a former litigator who practices in the firm’s Incident Response department. She brings over five years’ of litigation experience, from preparing trial components, drafting and arguing motions and assisting in discovery and trial testimony.
In addition, Ms. Nixon is a poised speaker who has spoken to various local and state media outlets about trials, specifically about a positive outcome that occurred in a jury trial which raised awareness of the link between substance abuse and human trafficking.
Since graduating law school in 2017, Ms. Nixon has served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Family Violence Sexual Assault Unit for the City of Philadelphia. Prior to that, she was a Certified Legal Intern for the city’s District Attorney Office for two years.
As a student at the George Washington University Law School, Carly was a member of the International Law Association, the Arts and Entertainment Law Association and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. She also participated in Moot Court and Negotiation Skills competitions and in the Spanogle International Arbitration Competition.
