Elana Weinblatt is an Associate at Mullen Coughlin. Ms. Weinblatt’s practice focuses on assisting clients in response to data security events, regulatory investigations and inquiries from law enforcement and the media. Ms. Weinblatt assists clients in addressing crucial points of fact and law, including determining the nature and scope of the data security event; identifying affected individuals and types of information involved; determining what state, federal and foreign laws govern the client’s duties related to the event; and preparing legally compliant notices to the appropriate individuals and regulators, where required.
Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Ms. Weinblatt worked as an International Tax Consultant at a “Big Four” accounting firm. Before attending law school, Ms. Weinblatt worked as a Program Director for an international non-profit organization focused on hunger advocacy and education.
