Julie Siebert-Johnson is a Partner at Mullen Coughlin. Ms. Siebert-Johnson focuses her practice on assisting clients with data privacy events, network security and incident response. In the event of a breach, Ms. Siebert-Johnson counsels her clients throughout their investigation including coordinating with forensic teams to determine the scope of the breach. Further, Ms. Siebert-Johnson advises clients regarding the interpretation of state, federal and international data privacy laws, and how they apply to each client’s unique circumstances. Ms. Siebert-Johnson also works with her clients to satisfy any notification duties created by a data event, and to respond to any resulting regulatory inquiry.
Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Ms. Siebert-Johnson worked for a Philadelphia-area law firm specializing in complex civil litigation on behalf of plaintiffs. Ms. Siebert-Johnson concentrated her practice in the areas of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) and fiduciary breach litigation. Ms. Siebert-Johnson litigated cases on behalf of her clients in federal district courts across the country, before many federal appeals courts and to the United States Supreme Court.
