Kaitlin Clemens is an Associate at Mullen Coughlin. Ms. Clemens’s practice focuses on counseling clients through privacy and cybersecurity matters including data security events, incident response and regulatory investigations and compliance. Once a breach has occurred, Ms. Clemens assists and advises clients by determining the scope of the breach, the nature of the information compromised and the potentially impacted parties. Ms. Clemens coordinates with forensic teams and other industry experts to ensure her clients are in compliance with state and federal statutory and regulatory obligations that trigger in the event of a data security incident. Ms. Clemens also assists clients in responding to regulatory inquiries and investigations.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Clemens worked as a litigation associate for a Philadelphia-area law firm specializing in catastrophic injury on behalf of plaintiffs. Ms. Clemens also served as an intern at the Complex Litigation Center in Philadelphia.
Ms. Clemens earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law where she served as Executive Editor of Temple’s International and Comparative Law Journal and had her comment selected for publication in 2017.
