Liana Carvalho Pruna is an Associate with Mullen Coughlin. As a member of the Incident Response team, Liana counsels clients from across all industries who have been the victim of a data privacy and security incident. In assisting in investigating and responding to the incident, she works closely with external parties such as forensic investigators and other third-party vendors in determining what, if any, legal obligations the organization has stemming from the incident. This includes obligations related to state, federal or international data privacy law, as well as with any contracts or industry-related regulations.

Liana was previously a Law Clerk with the Mullen Coughlin. Prior to Mullen Coughlin, she was a Legal Intern for a boutique immigration law firm where she researched and analyzed statutes, codes and cases related to U.S. immigration law.

While a law student at Villanova, Liana was a Symposium Editor and a Staff Writer for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal. Liana is fluent in Spanish.
