Megan Gordon, as an associate practicing in the firm’s Incident Response department, counsels clients in the prevention of data breach incidents and during the response and notification process after an incident occurs. As part of the incident response team, Ms. Gordon partners with data forensics experts and insurance professionals to assess the scope of the incident and to provide the appropriate response.
Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Ms. Gordon served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. As a member of the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit, Ms. Gordon tried jury and bench trials for sensitive and complicated matters such as rape, sexual and physical abuse of children, Violations of the Uniform Firearms Act and interpersonal violence. Ms. Gordon additionally handled hundreds of other hearings and misdemeanor trials, including pre-trial evidentiary motions, motions to quash, and preliminary hearings.
