Meghan S. Farally is an associate attorney with Mullen Coughlin. Ms. Farally advises clients on preparing for and responding to data security incidents. Ms. Farally assists clients through all aspects of an incident response, including the investigation and identification of legal duties, as well as ensuring compliance with any duties identified during the investigation. Ms. Farally also guides clients through any subsequent regulatory inquiry and follow up as a result of a data security incident.
Ms. Farally began her legal career as a prosecutor with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. She spent 7 years as an assistant district attorney, in court every day prosecuting crimes ranging from drug trafficking, to the straw purchase of firearms, to attempted murder. When she left the Office of the District Attorney, Meghan had tried hundreds of cases to verdict; more than 40 to a jury. Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Ms. Farally was a Senior Associate Attorney at a medical malpractice defense firm, where she concentrated her practice in the defense of physicians, nurses, and practice groups.
