Melanie A. Rader is an Associate at Mullen Coughlin. Melanie focuses her practice on data privacy events, network security and incident response. Her work includes coordinating with forensic investigators to determine the nature and scope of an intrusion; counseling on state, federal and international data privacy laws to identify and satisfy any notification duties; and responding to regulatory inquiries and investigations.
Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Melanie served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Linda K. Caracappa, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She most recently worked as a litigation associate specializing in complex civil litigation at a Philadelphia-area law firm.
Melanie earned her Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law. During law school, she worked as a Legal Fellow at a multinational pharmaceutical company and as an Honors Associate at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
