Meredith L. Lussier is an associate at Mullen Coughlin, LLC. Meredith’s practice is focused on data privacy and cybersecurity with a particular focus on responding to data breaches and related data exposure events. She assists clients in investigating and responding to all aspects of data breach and network security incidents by determining the nature and scope of the intrusion; identifying the affected individuals and types of information involved; determining what state, federal, and international laws govern the client’s notice of the incident and any contractual obligations; and preparing legally compliant notices to affected individuals and appropriate regulators. Meredith works closely with forensic investigators and law enforcement to determine the cause of the incident and to ensure that the breach has been contained.
