Nicholas Jajko is an Associate at Mullen Coughlin. Mr. Jajko focuses his practice on not only preparing clients for compliance with data security regulations, responding to security incidents and breach events, but also as an experienced litigator defending state, federal, class action and multidistrict litigation arising out of the breaches.
Mr. Jajko has significant experience navigating the litigation process in complex matters from the pleadings stage through discovery encompassing a wide scope of relevancy and feasibility issues. Mr. Jajko brings a detailed understanding of the analysis and strategy needed to conduct efficient discovery and select skilled expert witnesses. Mr. Jajko is able to leverage his detailed understanding to then anticipate the likelihood of success after all discovery has been gathered. As a former plaintiff’s attorney, Mr. Jajko handled cases involving systemic nursing home negligence at the corporate level in acute and sub-acute care facilities and catastrophic injuries through to jury verdicts, with settlements in excess of $750,000 for injured victims including countless arbitrations and mediations in local state and federal courts.
Mr. Jajko also has the distinction of twice defending his clients’ rights as appellees successfully to the point of denial of certification by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
