Ryan Gallagher is an Associate attorney at Mullen Coughlin. Mr. Gallagher counsels businesses and organizations across a range of industries on privacy and data security matters. Combining his knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape with his technical experience, Mr. Gallagher is an advisor to companies during the critical moments of responding to data security incidents. From the moment a breach occurs, Mr. Gallagher leverages information technology and crisis management resources to understand the scope of an incident, assess the impact to data and sensitive information and mitigate legal risk. Mr. Gallagher also works with clients to develop practical solutions for the collection, use and transfer of information and advises clients on their legal notice and compliance requirements under international, federal and state law, as well as those stemming from ethical and contractual obligations.
