Ryli is an Associate with Mullen Coughlin’s Incident Response team. Working closely with organizations who have been faced with a data privacy and security incident, Ryli provides the necessary guidance and tools to contain the incident and coordinates the response and investigation into the incident by third-parties. She also advises organizations on their state, federal and international reporting obligations, as well as any obligations pursuant to any contracts or industry-related regulations. She also assists with providing organizations with the preparation, updating and testing of incident response plans (IRPs) and information security plans.
Prior to joining the firm, Ryli was an Associate in the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity practice of a full-service law firm.
While in law school at the University of Denver, Ryli served as Vice President of Programs for the Venture Law Society – a student organization focused on startup law and technology. She also interned at various law firms performing legal research related to corporate and commercial law matters and compliance issues.
