Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Ms. Contino was an associate at a prominent Philadelphia insurance defense firm and handled hundreds of cases from the initial pleadings phase through resolution, focusing on general casualty claims. She has significant experiencing navigating the litigation process in complex civil matters in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and federal district courts and has a detailed knowledge and understanding of the strategy and analysis needed to obtain favorable outcomes for her clients. She has arbitrated dozens of cases in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, as well as Bucks, Montgomery and Chester counties and successfully tried a case to jury verdict in Philadelphia County in 2019.

Catherine earned her J.D. from Villanova University where she served as a Staff Writer and Associate Editor of the Villanova Environmental Law Journal, in which her case note on the U.S. Supreme Courtโ€™s decision in Koontz v. St. Johns River Water Management District was published in 2014.

Following her graduation from law school, Catherine served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. Shusted, Jr. of the New Jersey Superior Court in Camden, New Jersey.
