Practice Areas

Christopher Dilenno is a Founding Partner of Mullen Coughlin, focusing his practice on assisting organizations as they respond to, and investigate, data privacy and security incidents.  With a particular focus on the healthcare and life sciences industry, as well as the financial services and retail/e-commerce industries, he counsels victim organizations in identifying the applicable and necessary legal and regulatory obligations under various state, federal and international data breach notification and privacy laws, as well as any contractual or industry-specific commitments. These steps can include engaging forensics experts; effectuating individual and third-party notification; and coordinating call center, identity protection and public relations vendors. He also, on behalf of victim organizations, defends them against formal regulatory investigations and other third-party actions stemming from data privacy and security incidents.

Chris is a frequent speaker at industry and client conferences across the United States, oftentimes presenting with cyber insurance carriers and brokers and other industry partners.
