Practice Areas

Daniella Styagova is an Associate in the Mullen Coughlinโ€™s Privacy Litigation practice, focused on defending organizations against allegations of data privacy, consumer protection and technology-related violations. She works closely with the Privacy Litigation team in assessing the allegations and then assists in the successful defense of the organization โ€“ whether by settlement, dismissal or by litigating through to a conclusion.

She also defends organizations who are the subject of a regulatory investigation โ€“ whether from state, federal or industry-related regulatory bodies โ€“ as it pertains to data privacy and security incidents and/or the handling of personal or sensitive data on behalf of individuals and business partners.

Daniella was a Law Clerk with Mullen Coughlin prior to joining as an Associate. She also gained valuable litigation experience as a legal intern at several trial firms, assisting with case evaluation, legal research, preparing briefs and drafting documents for use in pre-trial motions.

While a J.D. candidate at New York Law School, Daniella was the Senior Editor for the Family Law Quarterly and a Staff Editor for The Margins.

Outside of her practice, Daniella is a Russian language tutor. In addition, to her fluent Russian, she is also conversational in Ukrainian and Italian.
