Furrah Qureshi is an Associate at Mullen Coughlin and an experienced trial lawyer. She counsels organizations in their response to, and investigation of, data privacy and security incidents. In particular, using her previous experience and education in public communications, Furrah’s clients rely on her to assist in the coordination of public relations to ensure that the organization has the appropriate support and resources necessary to ensure a continuation of business operations.

Prior to joining the firm, Furrah was an Assistant District Attorney (ADA) for the Montgomery County (PA) District Attorney’s (DA) Office for over five and a half years. As an ADA, Furrah was responsible for both jury and bench trials, as well as criminal investigations, negotiations, plea bargaining and victim interviews and meetings. She previously was a Legal Intern with the Office.

Before joining the DA’s Office, Furrah was a Legal Intern with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, where she was responsible for conducting research pertaining to abusive loan and credit card practices throughout the Commonwealth.

Furrah received her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and has a M.S. in Public Communications and a B.A. in English from Drexel University.

Outside of law, Furrah volunteers for her local community to help the food insecure. While with the DA’s office, she received an “Official Commendation” for organizing fundraisers for the homeless and food insecure in her community. She also maintains an Instagram food blog – @Spilled_Spice – where she shares her favorite recipes as she is an avid home cook.
