Practice Areas

Jordan O’Donnell is a Partner in Mullen Coughlin’s Privacy Litigation practice group. Leveraging his extensive litigation experience, Jordan represents organizations from all industries in class action, single-plaintiff and other data privacy and security-related litigation across the country.

Organizations facing common law or statutory claims in federal or state court rely on Jordan to counsel them on litigation and early resolution strategies. Jordan also counsels organizations that are facing third-party demands and other legal risks arising out of data privacy and security incidents – such as wire transfer fraud matters. In addition, Jordan assists clients in responding to regulatory inquiries from both state and federal bodies.

Before joining Mullen Coughlin, Jordan was an associate in the Consumer Financial Services Group for a national law firm. Jordan defended numerous organizations in complex litigation and arbitration matters, which include claims arising under federal and state consumer protection statues such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

Focusing on the financial services industry, he independently managed complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters for financial institutions related to the FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA and other consumer protection laws and regulations. Jordan also has extensive litigation experience regarding mortgage servicing, title disputes, bankruptcy, professional liability and other liability claims.

After graduating cum laude from Boston College School of Law, Jordan was a Judicial Law Clerk for the New Jersey Administrative Office of the Courts and a Superior Court judge.

While in law school, Jordan was a staff writer for the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest and served as the Managing Editor in his third year.
