Practice Areas

Kaitlin Clemens is a Partner at Mullen Coughlin. Her practice focuses on counseling organizations with data privacy information security matters including incident response, regulatory investigation and Advisory Compliance. Once an incident has occurred, Kaitlin assists and advises victim organizations by determining the scope of the incident, the nature of the data compromised and the potentially impacted parties. She then coordinates with forensic investigation firms and other industry experts to ensure her clients are in compliance with state and federal statutory and regulatory obligations that trigger in the event of a data privacy and security incident. She also assists in responding to regulatory inquiries and investigations on behalf of organizations who have been victimized by a data privacy and security incident.

Prior to joining the firm, Kaitlin worked as a litigation associate for a Philadelphia-area law firm specializing in catastrophic injury on behalf of plaintiffs. She also served as an intern at the Complex Litigation Center in Philadelphia.

Kaitline earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law where she served as Executive Editor of Templeโ€™s International and Comparative Law Journal and had her comment selected for publication in 2017.
