Meghan Wood is an experienced and diligent commercial litigator, having handled hundreds of cases nationwide on behalf of organizations across all industries, with extensive experience representing manufacturing, pharmaceutical and distribution companies. She is skilled at representing her clients both in the courtroom and outside, having successfully managed litigation from the initial filing, discovery and depositions and pre-trial motions, through resolution via settlement, dismissal or jury/bench decisions.

At Mullen Coughlin, Meghan is an Associate in the Firmโ€™s Privacy Litigation practice group. Focused exclusively on single-plaintiff and class action privacy litigation on behalf of organizations of all sizes and from every industry, she represents her clients in U.S. state and federal courts nationwide in disputes ranging from data privacy and security incidents, violations of federal consumer protection and U.S. state privacy laws and other commercial torts, to breach of contract and Tech E&O matters. She works closely with her clients, as well as other Firm resources, to effectively and efficiently guide them to the best solution that fits the needs and goals of their business.

Meghan also represents organizations during state, federal or industry-specific regulatory investigation.

Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Meghan was an associate attorney at several Chicago-based law firms, honing her litigation skills in matters related to insurance defense, civil rights, bankruptcy, Medicare, personal injury, products liability and toxic torts.

Outside of her practice, Meghan is a volunteer mediator with the Center for Conflict Resolution. She also is a tutor for Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to Youth, a Chicago-based non-profit that provides free 1:1 tutoring and mentoring to students from the local community.
