Practice Areas

Nora Olsewski is an Associate at Mullen Coughlin, practicing in the Firm’s Incident Response practice group. She is a Breach Coach for organizations who have been victimized by a data privacy and security incident such as a ransomware attack, business email compromise, inadvertent disclosure or other unauthorized network intrusions. She works closely with her clients, as well as other incident response stakeholders, to effectively and efficiently counsel victim organizations on their legal, regulatory and contractual responsibilities stemming from the incident. This includes providing advice on U.S. state notification obligations, responding to requests from state, federal and industry-specific regulatory agencies and the provision of credit/identity monitoring and public relations related to the incident.

Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Nora practiced employment law advising her clients on issues related to restrictive covenant enforcement and trade secret protection; competitive hiring; unfair competition; discrimination and retaliation; and unemployment compensation.

During law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Juan R. Sanchez, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania; as a teaching assistant of Villanova’s Advanced Trial Advocacy course; and as an extern in the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
