Mullen Coughlin Joins the Institute for Security and Technology’s “Ransomware Task Force”

Recognizing that ransomware is a growing criminal operation, targeting individuals and organizations involved in almost every facet of everyday life, Mullen Coughlin LLC is proud to be invited as a member of the Institute for Security and Technology’s (IST) Ransomware Task Force (RFT), uniting with prominent stakeholders in the data security ecosystem to develop a sustainable strategy for preparing and responding to ransomware events.

The firm is excited to join professionals from a variety of organizations, including cyber insurance carriers and software technology companies, among others, in working to provide actionable solutions to mitigate and combat ransomware attacks. Thank you to IST Executive Director Philip Reiner and the Task Force co-chairs, John Davis, Megan Stifel and Michael Phillips, for including Mullen Coughlin in this important initiative.

The IST is a San Francisco, CA-based, non-partisan and non-profit organization dedicated to advancing solutions to critical cyber and national security threats and challenges. The goal of the organization is to provide tools and insights needed for companies and governments to stay ahead of emerging global security threats.
