Ivana Alexander is an Associate in Mullen Coughlin’s Incident Response practice group. After an organization experiences a real or suspected data privacy and security incident, Ivana serves as the organization’s Breach Coach while responding to and investigating the incident. She works closely with the organization, it’s cyber insurance carrier/broker (if applicable), law enforcement and third-party forensic investigation firms to mitigate the effect of the incident and identify any legal, regulatory or contractual obligations the organization may have stemming from the incident. This includes individual, business partner and media notification; law enforcement and regulatory agency reporting; the facilitation of credit and/or identity monitoring and internal/external communications; and representation in formal and informal regulatory agency follow-ups and investigations.

Ivana has nearly five (5) years of legal experience in which she brings to her current practice. Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, she was a civil litigator focusing her practice on general liability, professional liability, commercial litigation and construction litigation. She successfully advocated for her clients before the Courts of Common Pleas of Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks and Lehigh counties in Pennsylvania.

Ivana also clerked for Judge Carol Sandra Moore Wells in the United States District Court in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as part of Temple Law School’s Honors Federal Judicial Clerkship Program.

Ivana served as a program director for a non-profit organization where she developed and oversaw an educational program for underprivileged children in the Kensington area of North Philadelphia.
