Joseph Benvenuto is an Associate in Mullen Coughlinโs Incident Response practice group. As a Breach Coach for organizations who have been victimized by a data privacy and security incident, he coordinates the response and investigation into the incident with third-party Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) firms, cyber insurance carriers and brokers and law enforcement, among others. He also counsels victim organizations on their legal, regulatory and/or contractual obligations.
After his graduation from Seton Hall University School of Law, Joseph was a Law Clerk with Mullen Coughlin. He was also a Summer Associate at a full-service law firm while completing his J.D., completing legal research and analysis on topics related to bankruptcy, employment, land use and other environmental issues.
