Vince Regan is a Partner at Mullen Coughlin and a highly-experienced attorney focusing his practice exclusively on counseling organizations with their response and investigation into data privacy and security incidents and the regulatory and legal compliance issues surrounding such incidents. He has counseled myriads of organizations across all industry sectors including financial services, healthcare and life sciences, education, and professional services. Working with various internal and external incident response stakeholders, Vince assists in determining the nature and scope of the incident, as well as the legal, regulatory, and/or contractual obligations that follow as a result of the incident under applicable state, federal, and international law. He then works with his clients to comply with these obligations and respond to any resulting regulatory inquiry.
Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Vince was a prosecutor for fifteen years in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where he served in the Economic and Cyber Crime Unit, Major Trials Unit, Repeat Offender Unit, and ultimately, as Bureau Chief for five (5) years. He has tried over seventy jury trials and hundreds of bench trials in high-profile matters involving violent crime, sexual assault, and economic/cybercrime.
In addition to his litigation experience, Vince has lectured on numerous topics including the use of data-driven prosecution models.
