Ashley Mountney, an Associate at Mullen Coughlin, primarily practices in the Incident Response practice group. She serves as a Breach Coach to organizations who have become the victim of a real or perceived data privacy and security incident. Leading the response and investigation into the incident, Ashley coordinates the various incident response stakeholders – forensic investigation firms, data mining firms and law enforcement, among others – to determine the size and scope of the incident. She then counsels the organization to identify any legal, regulatory, contractual or industry-related obligations related to the incident. She also responds to regulatory investigations into data privacy and security incidents on behalf of victim organizations.

Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Ashley specialized in Pennsylvania and New Jersey workers’ compensation defense as an associate at a full-service law firm. She also was a Legal Analyst for Comcast Cable Corporation, investigating and responding to legal document preservation requests for company and customer records.
