Bridget Gallagher is an Associate practicing in the Incident Response practice. An experienced attorney and legal professional, Bridget focuses her practice on counseling organizations through the data privacy and security incident response process. Industry agnostic, she works closely with organizations, their internal incident response teams/legal counsel and other external stakeholders, to quickly determine the nature and scope of the incident, identify legal and regulatory obligations stemming from the incident and effectuating those obligations – such as individual, business and media notification, law enforcement reporting and other regulatory or contractual responsibilities related to data privacy and protection.
Bridget is a former Deputy District Attorney out of the Chester County (PA) District Attorney’s Office, as both a Supervisor and Trial Attorney, investigating, charging and prosecuting through verdict cases related to homicide, corruption and organized crime. Prior to that, Bridget investigated human trafficking cases in Montgomery County (PA) working with the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Human Trafficking. In addition, she toured numerous law enforcement agencies and district attorneys’ offices across the Commonwealth, giving lectures on techniques and best practices for investigations and prosecutions.
Bridget has additional private practice experience as an Associate attorney practicing civil and corporate litigation for a Pennsylvania regional law firm.
Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, Bridget received her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and a B.A from Villanova University.
