Practice Areas

Christopher Dilenno is a founding partner of Mullen Coughlin. He focuses his practice on assisting clients in data privacy and network security matters, with a particular focus on responding to data breaches and related data exposure events. When a healthcare provider is faced with the loss of a laptop containing names and social security numbers, or a retailer is hacked and credit card information is stolen, he assists these clients in identifying appropriate and required next steps to comply with the various state, federal and international data breach notification and privacy laws, to comply with business-to-business contract duties and to regain customer and client confidence. These steps can include engaging forensics experts, notification printing and mailing providers, call center and identity protection providers, demonstrating compliance to regulators, responding to requests for information and defending clients confronted with regulatory actions and litigation initiated by affected individuals and business partners.

Chris frequently presents with, and to, brokers from AJ Gallagher, Arc Excess, JLT Group, Marsh & McLennan, Wells Fargo, Willis Group Holdings and XL Catlin, among others.
