Dennis N. Lueck, Jr. is a Partner with Mullen Coughlin’s Litigation practice. Licensed to practice in Colorado, California and New York, as well as in numerous U.S. federal courts nationwide, he focuses his practice on defending organizations in third-party single plaintiff, class action and business-to-business (B2B) privacy- and security-related litigation.
With significant experience, having tried more than 30 cases to verdict over his career, Dennis defends his clients against claims of violations of consumer protection statutes, fraud, negligence or breach of contract related to data privacy and security, as well in disputes related to organizations’ potential financial liability after being victimized by cyber-criminals in fraudulent wire transfer schemes. In addition, he counsels organizations with privacy, data security and cybersecurity regulatory and compliance frameworks, and represents his clients in U.S. state and federal regulatory investigations launched as a result of a data privacy and security-related claim.
Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Dennis represented a diverse group of financial services companies across state and federal litigation and arbitration. He also assisted with regulatory matters from agencies such as the California Department of Consumer Affairs (CA DCA), New York Department of Financial Services (NY DFS) and in class action litigation related to consumer finance and related data privacy laws.
Outside of his law practice, Dennis enjoys cooking and staying active through snowboarding and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
