Greyson St. Martin is an Associate practicing in Mullen Coughlin’s Incident Response practice. An experienced legal professional in both the private and public sector, Greyson provides Breach Counsel services to organizations of all sizes and from all industry sectors who have suffered through a data privacy and security incident. Working with various internal and external stakeholders, Greyson leads the privileged investigation into data privacy and security incidents such as ransomware attacks, business email compromises (BECs), inadvertent disclosures and other unauthorized network intrusions. He counsels his clients on their legal and regulatory obligations stemming from the incident and assists in effectuating those obligations such as notification to affected individuals and reporting to applicable regulatory agencies and law enforcement. He also assists in compiling responses to investigations and inquiries from regulatory agencies.

Prior to Mullen Coughlin, Greyson was an Assistant County Attorney for the Carver County, MN Attorney’s Office. There, he represented the State of Minnesota as a criminal prosecutor handling all stages of criminal proceedings and working closely with local and state law enforcement agencies and victims of crimes.

Greyson also has valuable law firm experience, having started his legal career as an Associate Attorney practicing family law and municipal prosecution at a MN-based regional law firm. Prior to that, Greyson also served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Eric J. Braaten in Minnesota’s First Judicial District.

While a law student at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, Greyson was a member of the religious liberties Moot Court team and served as Treasurer of the school’s Board of Advocates.

Outside of his practice, Greyson serves as the Treasurer for his local church and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and dog.
