James McCarrick is an Associate practicing in Mullen Coughlin’s Incident Response practice group. He represents organizations who have experienced a data privacy and security incident by coordinating the response and investigation into the event by third parties, as well as counseling them on their compliance with data privacy laws and regulations stemming from the incident.

Before joining Mullen Coughlin, James was an associate at litigation boutique firm practicing in general liability, premises liability and insurance coverage litigation. He also previously clerked for the Honorable Darlene J. Pereksta of the Superior Court of New Jersey.

James earned his juris doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law. There, he was a member of the Environmental Law Society and the Integrated Trial Advocacy Program.
