Jennifer Dickey, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM is an Associate with Mullen Coughlin’s Advisory Compliance practice group. She devotes her practice to counseling organizations across all industry sectors with data privacy and information security preparedness solutions, including with conducting Cyber Incident Response Tabletop Exercises; developing Incident Response Plans (IRPs) and other relevant policies and procedures; advising on the various legal and regulatory frameworks governing handling of data; third-party vendor due diligence; and website and mobile application privacy policy, terms-of-use and other policies, among others.
Jennifer was a Law Clerk with Mullen Coughlin prior to joining as an Associate, where she conducted legal research related to comprehensive U.S. state privacy laws, U.S. federal privacy laws and regulations and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Prior to that, she was a Policy Fellow in Google’s Bipartisan Policy Center. There, she crafted policy briefings on AI and other immersive technology, offering her analysis and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Jennifer’s interest in cyber and data privacy is paramount to her practice. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and is a U.S. and Europe Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), as well as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM); She’s also a certified Privacy Professional from OneTrust.
Complimenting her practice, Jennifer is a Class of 2024 Fellow of #ShareTheMicInCyber, a project focused on addressing the cybersecurity vulnerabilities of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs).
