Mira Rhodes is an Associate practicing in Mullen Coughlin’s Incident Response practice group. She oversees the response and investigation into a variety of data privacy and security incidents such as a ransomware attack, business email compromise, fraudulent wire transfer fraud and other unauthorized network intrusions. In collaboration with other external incident response stakeholders, Mira reviews digital evidence to determine what, if any, legal and/or regulatory obligations – such as notification and regulatory or law enforcement reporting – is necessary as a result of the incident. She also assists her clients in responding to inquiries and follow-up questions from regulatory agencies regarding data privacy and security incidents and organization’s response and investigation into such incidents.
Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Mira was a Law Clerk with a civil litigation law firm in Chicago. Mira also previously served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Clare Quish of the Circuit Court of Cook County. She is licensed to practice in Illinois and received her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
