Nicholas Pontzer is an Associate at Mullen Coughlin and practices in the firm’s Incident Response service area. He counsels organizations of all sizes and across all industry sectors in their response and investigation into cybersecurity incidents. Nick coordinates the investigation by working closely with the organization and third-party forensic investigators to determine what, if any, legal obligations arise from the incident. Nick then advises the organization on their legal duties and compliance with state, federal or international law, as well as contractual or industry-specific regulations.

Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Nick was an associate at a full-service law firm, practicing in their Cybersecurity and Data Privacy, General Liability, Business and Commercial and Global Insurance Services practice groups.
