Paolo R. Shipman is an Associate practicing in the Firmโs Incident Response practice group. He represents organizations in a variety of industries, assisting them through the full incident response process after a real or perceived data privacy and security incident has occurred.
Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Paolo was an associate at a Mid-Atlantic region civil litigation firm representing clients in a variety of matters in both state and federal courts. Paolo also worked as an associate at a Lancaster-based healthcare defense firm, representing healthcare organizations in resolving complex professional liability cases and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) violation matters.
During law school, Paolo served as a Judicial Clerk for Honorable Robert E. Simpson, Jr., formerly of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. He also was the Executive Managing Editor of the Widener Law Journal and was a recipient of the Commonwealth Court Historical Societyโs “Judge Alexander F. Barbieri Award” for demonstrated excellence in Administrative Law.
