Rohith Badri is an Associate in Mullen Coughlin’s Litigation practice. His practice focuses on defending organizations from all industry sectors in data privacy and security-related single-plaintiff, class action, and B2B litigation in U.S. state and federal courts. An experienced attorney and litigator, Rohith is able to easily digest case law and provide his clients with clear, persuasive, and business-friendly counsel and legal arguments. He routinely represents clients in data breach litigation and against claims of violations of federal consumer protection and U.S. state privacy laws and other commercial torts. Rohith is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Rohith was an Assistant District Attorney (ADA) for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. He was a member of the Appeals Unit, Economic Crimes Unit, and Municipal Court Unit. There, he led dozens of preliminary hearings, trials, and evidentiary proceedings related to felony charges, as well as drafted post-trial briefs and memoranda in appeals and post-conviction proceedings.

Rohith received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.S. in Finance cum laude from Rutgers University – New Brunswick. At the University of Michigan, Rohith was a member of the South Asian Law Students Association, as well as the Civil-Criminal Litigation Clinic.
