At CLM’s 2023 Claims College, Partner Carolyn Purwin Ryan joins the faculty of the School of Cyber Claims on August 17 and 18 in Baltimore, MD. Along with Kirsten Mickelson, Cyber Product Group Leader at Gallagher Bassett, Carolyn shares her incident response, cyber insurance and privacy litigation expertise in three courses – “Anatomy of a Data Breach,” “Complex Coverage Issues: Aggregation, Excess and Reinsurance” and “Cyber Third-Party Litigation.”
During these Level 2 classes, School of Cyber Claims students hear from Carolyn and Kirsten about the processes, procedures and tools needed to evaluate and handle all types of data privacy and security incidents effectively and efficiently. Additionally, using experience and data gleaned from the nearly 5,000 incidents responded to and investigated by Carolyn and Mullen Coughlin since 2022, students gain an understanding of the motives and methods of threat actors, as well as learn about the ever-changing data privacy and security and technology landscape.
