Cyber Risk in Space: From Blind Spot to Business Priority

On March 4, MC UK Managing Partner Cameron Carr presents at Space-Comm Europe on the panel session, “Cyber Risk in Space: From Blind Spot to Business Priority.” Cameron is joined on the panel by Relm Insurance’s Claire Davey, Huntbase’s Tyler Oliver, and Meridan Space Command’s Sam Richards.

While cyber risk is a threat to businesses here on Earth, in space, however, the risks are under-addressed outside of defense and national security operations. As space technology becomes increasingly more dependent on software and more interconnected, turning cyber preparedness from an afterthought into a core pillar of space risk management is paramount. Cameron and the panel examine how cyber risk manifests in space systems – such as satellites and other technologies, defense operators, launch systems, and manufacturers, among others – and how Breach Counsel and cyber insurance can support cyber incident prevention and resilience, as well as the rapid response into such incidents as they occur.
