On May 6th, as part of RIMS’ Annual Conference – RISKWORLD 2024 – Partner Carolyn Purwin Ryan speaks on the session entitled “Security Incidents: Learning from Mistakes.”

Carolyn, along with Kroll’s Managing Director of Cyber Risk Chris Ballod, walk attendees through a sample data privacy and security incident response in order to assess what went right and what went wrong.

With the goal of being able to improve their cyber incident response (IR) readiness, attendees learn how to identify common pitfalls during the IR process; appreciate the roles of internal and external IR stakeholders; and shape a plan to better prepare themselves for the inevitable incident.
