Mullen Coughlin Welcomes Four New Attorneys in May 2024

Mullen Coughlin LLC welcomed four (4) new attorneys to the team this past May โ€“ Christopher Ballod, Sara Hubaishi, Seth F. Gitman and Jennifer Dickey.

Announced previously, Chris Ballod joins the Incident Response (IR) practice area as a Senior Partner. With a legal and professional career spanning over two decades โ€“ where he held prominent positions within the cyber insurance ecosystem โ€“ Chris possesses a deep understanding of the complicated and nuanced data privacy legal landscape and real-life experience in leading forensic investigations into hundreds of various types of data privacy incidents. He received his J.D. from Widener University Delaware Law School and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.

Based in Atlanta, Sara Hubaishi brings her previous Breach Coach experience to the Mullen Coughlin Incident Response team. Having handled data privacy and security incidents of all types and sizes, Sara is well-versed in the myriad data privacy and information security laws and regulations that govern an organizations response to a data privacy and security incident, as well as with the protection of employee, client and business partner data. She received her J.D. from Washington University School of Law and is licensed to practice in Illinois.

Seth Gitman joins the IR practice group as an Associate based in Devon, PA. A former civil engineer and project manager, he joins after practicing law defending architects, engineers and construction companies in complex commercial litigation, wherein he also experienced reviewing third-party business contracts โ€“ experience he bears when assessing contractual obligations his clients have with respect to data privacy and security incidents. Seth received his J.D. cum laude from Temple University Beasley School of Law and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, Missouri and New Jersey.

Jennifer Dickey, a former law clerk with the Firm, joins the Advisory Compliance practice area based in Chicago. She devotes her practice to assisting organizations with pre-incident and proactive data privacy and information security preparedness solutions. Jennifer is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and also both a U.S. and Europe Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), as well as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM). Jennifer received her J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and is licensed to practice in Illinois.
