Litigation Partner Jordan O’Donnell Joins CLM Claims College Faculty

At the 2026 CLM Claims College, Mullen Coughlin Litigation Partner Jordan O’Donnell joins the faculty for the “School of Cyber and Technology Risk,” in session September 9-11 in Baltimore, MD. The “School of Cyber and Technology Risk” provides students with the skills needed to proactively and effectively manage cyber claims under traditional and stand-alone cyber insurance policies.

Jordan instructs on the foundations of data privacy and data security law and risk management principles, providing students with an understanding of the cyber threat landscape and strategies to resolve third-party cyber claims including liability exposure, costs and expenses, and emerging technologies. Jordan is joined on the faculty by insurance, legal, and digital forensics professionals.

Mullen Coughlin Grows Litigation Practice With Two (2) New Associates

Mullen Coughlin LLC grew its Litigation practice this June, welcoming two (2) new Associate attorneys to the practice – Kyle P. Dutch in Massachusetts and Edward J. Wiest in Pennsylvania. Both Kyle and Ed focus their practice on the defense of organizations against data privacy and security-related claims in single-plaintiff, class action, and B2B disputes.

Kyle brings over three (3) years of complex commercial litigation experience to the practice, having litigated a variety of diverse matters related to breach of contract, business torts, insurance, and administrative law. Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, he practiced at a national law firm in their Litigation department. He received his J.D. from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law and is licensed to practice in Massachusetts.

Ed joins the Firm from the York County District Attorney’s Office where he served as an Assistant District Attorney (ADA) and the Senior Prosecutor for the General Trial Team and the Appellate Unit. Having handled over 30 jury trials ranging from complex financial crimes to homicide and other violent crimes, Ed brings relevant negotiating, trial prep, and legal research and writing skills to the Firm’s Litigation practice. Ed earned his J.D. cum laude from Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.

Joined by a panel of cyber insurance and privacy professionals, Carolyn leads a lively discussion on the latest cyber litigation trends, including data breach class actions and privacy claims. The panel provides practical strategies in defending these types of cases, starting from early incident response considerations, through motion practice, discovery, expert testimony, and finally to identifying damages and settlement options.
